Alesso Releases Song off new ‘Forever’ Album Thanks to Fashion Collab

Alesso

Fresh off the heels of a monster announcement regarding his new album Forever, Alesso released a fifth full song off his widely anticipated compilation. Thanks in large part due to a collaboration with Venezuelan fashion designer, Carolina Herrera, ‘If It Wasn’t For You’ hit the sound waves this morning as a promotional track for her company’s new 212 VIP CLUB LIMITED edition fragrances.

With the official release of his album slated for May 26, ‘If It Wasn’t For You’ is the epitome of the Swedish sensation’s sound. Opening with the smooth vocals from an unknown male singer, the song rapidly builds up with soft melodic vibes before an energy packed drop sweeps you off your feet, as do so many other Alesso drops.

So where does Alesso go from here? The Carolina Herrera site has a countdown to “SOMETHING BIGGER.” Whether it is the release of another song off his album or something completely different, expect it to be yet another impressive notch in Alesso’s already booming year.

The countdown begins. 12 days remain. Check out ‘If It Wasn’t For You’ and the official video below:
