Ultra Music Festival Issues New Set Of Guidelines For 2015

Ultra
Ultra Music Festival is just around the corner (21 days!), but this year’s festival may look a lot different than years past. From Friday, March 27th to Sunday, March 29th, thousands of revelers and ravers will descend upon Bayfront Park in Miami to celebrate and experience the best in electronic music.  However, Ultra 2015 has instituted a strict 18+ policy and new guidelines banning certain items that are widely considered integral to festival culture.

This year’s Ultra forbids backpacks, purses and bags.  Guests may bring small clutch bags “approximately the size of a hand” and fannypacks.  Glowsticks, face masks, stuffed animals, and lasers are also taboo.  Following in the steps of other festivals who have issued a ban on backpack hydration systems, Camelbaks and the like are forbidden.  TomorrowWorld tried to institute a similar policy last September, but then overturned their initial ban, responding to the wishes of attendees.  Poles such as totems and selfie sticks are also banned.  Flags, banners and GoPros will be allowed in the venue.  Finally, don’t even think about climbing a tree.  Those caught scaling poles or foliage will be ejected from the event.  In spite of these new rules, we can look forward to kandi, bro tanks and ubiquitous flower headbands.  Check out the full list of this year’s policies below and if you haven’t already, grab your ticket here.
