Electric Forest attendees rejoice! Amidst all the speculation, an artist has finally confirmed that he will be performing this year in Rothbury. Yesterday, Skrillex took to Twitter to announce his excitement at performing in the forest this year.
Skrillex quickly deleted the tweet after posting it, indicating that he was not given permission to leak this information. The Festive Owl already announced that Skrillex would be performing in the forest, but it is nice for his attendance to be officially confirmed by Skrillex himself. While The Festive Owl is of course unofficial, they have a very impressive track record in correctly predicting lineup announcements. They also announced that Kaskade, Flume, The String Cheese Incident and Bassnectar will perform in the forest this year. The lineup is already stacked according to The Festive Owl, and we can only hope that they are correct in their predictions. In the meantime, forest attendees can only sit in eager anticipation for the official lineup announcement.
