Over a year ago, the devastating news broke that Paul Bäumer had lost his battle with cancer after fighting hard for four long months. There is no doubt within the community that the duo was one of the most iconic and influential in the emergence of the electronic music scene in America. The “forever plural” duo released ‘Knock You Out’ 9 months ago, which was completed prior to Paul’s passing, but released posthumously. Paul’s tragic passing left partner Maarten Hoogstraten with not only big shoes to fill, but also a legacy to carry on.
