Dance Music’s Young Guns Shine In Forbes’ 30 Under 30 List

It’s no secret that a majority of dance music lovers are adolescents. That being said, it only makes sense that some of the genre’s most prominent figures are also quite young themselves. Every year, Forbes Magazine releases their ‘30 Under 30 In Music‘ list and in this year’s installment, electronic music is well represented. With five producers, including the likes of Martin Garrix and Afrojack, and one event owner, Sebastian Solano of Life In Color, on this list, it’s clear dance music is here to stay!

As you can tell by looking below, some of the genre’s brightest young star’s have cracked the top 10 including Afrojack sitting in at #2, Arca at #5, and the boy wonder himself, Martin Garrix sitting in at #8. If you feel like going down a little further, you will find that DJ Mustard, Porter Robinson and Sebastian Solano also made the list.
