With each passing day, it seems like another summer music festival lineup is announced. CounterPoint‘s lineup was the most recent domino to fall and it is sure to please any dance music fan. Two of the four headliners are electronic acts, with Zedd and Kygo joining Widespread Panic and The Roots. The announcement solidifies Kygo’s meteoric rise to the top after his breakout 2014. The Norwegian superstar’s 2015 hasn’t been any less spectacular though, as he was announced as a live headliner at Ultra and he just signed with The William Morris Endeavor Agency.
The big names don’t end there though, as Dillon Francis, Zeds Dead, Knife Party and RL Grime will be in attendance and looking to capitalize on the success of their 2014 albums. Other exciting acts include Brodinski, Bixel Boys, Jauz, What So Not and Haywyre, who all represent the incredible diversity within dance music. CounterPoint is also set to feature a Summer Vibes stage, which will host funky and glitchy acts such as Manic Focus, Michal Menert and Minnesota. The festival did not disappoint with its lineup announcement, which is sure to attract countless new people to their festival.
