The amount and diversity of electronic artists on this lineup attests to the past success Coachella has had with electronic music.  Although there are still plenty of punk and indie rock bands as well as representatives from the rap and hip-hop communities, electronic music is now a large part of the Coachella lineup, making it a major destination for dance music fans and artists alike.  Goldenvoice shies away from booking artists back-to-back years (they booked Dillon Francis and Disclosure in 2013 and 2014) and this year, they’ve booked Alesso and Deorro after they performed last spring.

Along with the official lineup announcement, Coachella announced that tickets for both weekends will go on sale tomorrow, January 7th, at 12:00pm noon PST. Register now for tickets and set your alarms because passes are sure to go faster than the 2015 advance sale last May. Learn how to purchase tickets through Coachella’s official site here.
