Maxxi Soundsystem – Medicine feat. Name One
Having recently done a mix for Shadow Child’s Rinse FM show to full effect, there couldn’t be a more perfect way to cap off his year than by releasing an original right before the new year that will definitely carry through well into 2015. That track is ‘Medicine’ featuring Name One by Maxxi Soundsystem. This has not been the first time these two have done a collab. Last year, they released “One in Three” on Defected Records and before that “Regrets We Have No Use For” on Hypercolour. With some very potent bassline swells and interesting choices of complementary atmospheric nuances, the melody on ‘Medicine’ takes flight with off beat stabs coupled by a truly addictive verse.
