Kid Astray – Back To The Ordinary (option4 remix)
Ever wondered what indie deep house sounds like? Well, look no further, because we’ve got a tune for ya. We covered option4 back when he released an underground deep-gem called ‘You’re ILL‘ in mid November, and now the Denver based producer has put a unique spin on Norwegian indie-pop group Kid Astray‘s  single, ‘Back to the Ordinary.’ Working to keep the original bassline and melodic progressions intact, option4 masterfully works in his own deep bass sounds that blends incredibly well with the pop elements of the record. Digging deeper within the layers of the track, you can distinctly hear a myriad of interesting audio samples that makes the listening experience that much more enjoyable (let us know what you pick up).
Having just made his Canadian debut last week in Vancouver, option4 is slated to make his first appearance in Detroit, Michigan this weekend, along with friends Lane 8 and Golf Clap 7 at the Grasshopper Underground.
