ZHU Makes North American Debut at HARD Day of The Dead, Drops

Hype has been steadily building around the enigmatic and private up-and-coming producer and DJ, ZHU. Fans went crazy for ZHU’s unique sound and ate up tracks like ‘Faded,’ and when it was announced he would be making his North American debut at HARD Day of The Dead, the festival immediately sky-rocketed to a must-attend event. Perfectly suited for a Halloween influenced event with his dark and sexy sounds, ZHU lived up to the hype of the weekend and was in the full spirit of the holiday. One of the landmark moments of the night was the inclusion of the Michael Jackson classic “Thriller,” in his debut set. ZHU amped up the tempo of the song, and as skeletons mimed the choreography from the “Thriller” video, the crowd couldn’t stop moving. In addition, ZHU played his entire NightDay EP and mixed up his set with some old-school hip hop in front of a massive crowd.
