While it may have been Diplo‘s birthday today, he decided to give the 106 & Park audience a surprise of his own. It’s a well-known fact that the Grammy nominated producer has a bunch of friends (see his Diplo & Friends radio show for evidence), but for his appearance on the BET program, he decided to bring along his most famous pal of all. After being asked about the massive Jack Ü project, he figured the best way to answer would be with Skrillex by his side. In an interview filled with selfies and birthday cake, the duo still found time to discuss their upcoming New Year’s Eve show at Madison Square Garden, massive debut single ‘Take Ü There‘ and favorite artists to collaborate with. After their 106 & Park appearance, it’s pretty clear that the hip hop community is just as excited as dance music’s to see what Jack Ü’s next big move will be.
