The House Dan Built Radio Show Aims to Show the Bigger Picture in EDM

There are literally thousands of podcasts our there for listeners to choose from, and we here at EDMTunes know that better than most: our mixes and podcasts section is without a doubt one of the most complete resources for them on the internet. The variety within them is massive -every artist and their mom has some sort of radio show these days! Naturally, there’s a lot of amazing shows to choose from, and there’s also a lot of…poorly made ones. World-dominating shows like Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Radio, Armin’s A State of Trance, and anything on BBC Radio 1 rule the air because they have built a trust with their listener base that centers around consistently great music. Most shows have not done that, due to poor selection or a very narrow library from which they pull content (genre-centric, label-only, artist-friend type scenarios). With that being said, let us introduce you to The House Dan Built.

Dan Carter knows dance music, and that’s really all there is to it. Having been a freelance journalist within the realm of dance music for more than ten years and now the European Editor for Dancing Astronaut, along with an extensive consulting pedigree for dance-centric labels(ask him and he’ll rattle off world-beating names such as Tiesto, Axwell, Revealed Recordings, Mark Knight, Steve Angello, and Ministry of Sound), few have their pulse on what’s hot right now better than Mr. Carter. With that in mind, he presents The House Dan Built: a radio show whose goal is to unveil the bigger picture in electronic dance music to listeners. Covering a vast array of genres, from big room all the way to tech house -something very few radio shows dare to do- THDB is about as wide of a look at the scene as you’re going to get within an hour’s time. We’re very pleased to add this radio show to our extensive catalog.. Check out the most recent episode below, which features an Arty and Keys N Krates interview, as well as an eclectic mix of new tunes from Dyro, Pierce Fulton, Dusky, and Weiss. Enjoy.
