A veteran in the electronic music scene for quite some time now, Swedish producer John Dahlback tends to fly under the radar even with his stellar productions. A man of multiple trades, Dahlback has shown that he is able to produce tracks from the melodic sounds of progressive house to the grungier side of electro, and at times, even puts the two together. In his latest track, Honors, he aims for the first type, calling upon Rebecca & Fiona to help with vocals along the way. The track’s build is highlighted by the airy vocals of Rebecca & Fiona who give the song a summery feel right from the get go. When the drop kicks in, the infectious tune of the track takes over showing why John Dahlback is who he is. Few people have the ability to meld in electro riffs into the melodic synths as naturally as Dahlback does.
