Tomorrowland Reveals Set Times and Hints At Possible Main Stage Design

We are a mere weeks away from one of the biggest weekends in festival season and the most international gathering in dance music. Expanding to two weekends for the first time, Tomorrowland will kick off its 10th anniversary on July 18th in Boom, Belgium with the second weekend starting on July 25th. The set times have been revealed on the official Tomorrowland website and with the announcement has come many of jaw dropping surprises. Eric Prydz is scheduled to play a 3 hour set both weekends on the main stage as well as a Hardwell b2b Tiesto set. Trance addicts are all probably in a higher state of consciousness after the release of the schedule as they are being treated to multiple back to back sets of legendary trance DJs such as Markus Schulz b2b Cosmic Gate and Aly & Fila b2b John O’ Callaghan. Mad Decent fans are getting a double dose of label boss Diplo and the rest of the twerk team such as Dillon Francis and DJ Snake. And, this is all just the tip of the titantic sized iceberg that awaits the people of tomorrow.

To add more fervor to the anticipation, the Tomorrowland 2014 trailer entitled “The Key To Happiness” featuring the “Tomorrowland Hymn” written by Hans Zimmer (as well as the Tomorrowland treasure box) alludes to a possible intricate clockwork design of this year’s main stage. With strong references to the Enlightenment period and watchmaker analogy, this year’s theme of unlocking the gates to happiness holds a deeper meaning; a meaning that will be revealed to those lucky to attend the 10th celebration of Tomorrowland.
