Flosstradamus’ ‘Drop Top’ is the ultimate song for cruising around with your friends thinking you’re fly-er than you really are. The group recently took this fantasy and brought it to life in their music video for the single, bringing 6-year olds the HYDY lifestyle and the reality of parents living vicariously through their kids to a whole new level. The video depicts a young Curt ridin’ through the streets of Chicago, impressing the ladies, when a rival group comes in to steal his thunder. Everyone is blown away by the filthy bass, and Curt’s reputation is in pieces. He goes into the HYDY workshop and retools his ride to take the fight to their turf; with his new ride and fresh HYDY gear everyone is converted to the plurnt lifestyle and another Chicago suburb is saved. The music video is about ridiculous as it sounds, but it is a must watch as it gives “Drop Top” new life.
