Some artists love to keep fans on the edge of their seats waiting for new music; Zeds Dead is not one of those artists. The Canadian duo just uploaded “Lost You” to their SoundCloud this morning, which will be the fourth track they have released in the last month (“Hadouken“, their “Holding On For Life” remix and “Loud“). For this latest tune, the boys have partnered with Twin Shadow and D’Angelo Lacy to help bring out their deep side. While this sound may be unfamiliar to some Zeds Dead enthusiasts, DC and Hooks incorporate all genres into their shows, so it was only a matter of time before that universal love of dance music found its way into the studio. Hopefully, “Lost You” has something to do with their mysterious Facebook post, which only included the date ‘July 1st’ and some strange album art with the title “Somewhere Else”. Although we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that this is a new LP or EP on the way, we can also live with a new Zeds Dead SoundCloud upload every week.
