After a long hiatus from the Anjunadeep Label, Peter Kriek and Ariaan Olieroock, aka 16 Bit Lolitas, return with an absolute gem of an EP titled Beat Organ. Best known for their 10 minute melodic progressives, the Dutch duo have released countless tracks of the highest quality throughout the years, including “Murder Weapon”, “Nobody Seems To Care” and “The Rise”.
The title track, “Beat Organ,” is a beautiful piece of old school tinted progressive house, complete with a juicy bass line, uplifting chords, and an inspirational, shimmering main line. “Beat Organ” is a perfect summer tune and should put a smile on any listeners face.
On the flip side we have the incredible “From Far Away” which demonstrates the sheer quality of these producers. This is the kind of track you’ll have on repeat the first few times its listened to, and this 4 minute preview doesn’t do the 9.20 runtime justice. “From far Away” is captivating, spacey and beautifully designed. This is sure to be one of the stand-out EPs on Anjunadeep this year, and a welcomed return from 16 bit Lolitas with a style of progressive that has been dearly missed from the label.
