Chromeo Unconventionally Announces Upcoming Album Name and Release Date via Craigslist

Buy Now

Instead of announcing the release date of the eagerly anticipated Chromeo album via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, a branded app, Pitchfork, or EDMTunes, they’ve decided to go retro. Vintage even. This ad appeared in the Minneapolis, MN Craigslist site, under “Missed Connections,” with the album art & lyrics from a yet-to-be-named song & a release date. This is unconventional for sure, but for the funky casanovas that Dave-1 & P-Thugg are, the choice is a deliciously classic way to remind us something good is coming our way. Just in case you weren’t sure, they’re also touring so, get out there and enjoy yourself. I know I will.
