Martin Garrix – Animals (Oliver Heldens Remix)


One of the biggest tracks of the year gets an interesting face-lift, something nobody saw coming. Yes, the track has already had some notable remixes by the likes of Carnage and Botnek, but here’s a rising 17-year-old DJ whose changing the game of the deep-house genre as we know it. Deep-house is dominating the Miami club-scene right now, as well as becoming a major player in EDM festivals worldwide, with DJ’s like Carl Cox getting his very own stage at Ultra Music Festival. Signed with one of the industry’s most successful labels Spinnin Records, Oliver Heldens brings together a sound that Carl Cox lovers can still groove to, while the big-room festival drop fans will be intrigued as well. In fact, the track is barely a changed up rendition of the original, as it takes out any aspects of the beloved build-up or drop, showing that Heldens truly wanted to make it his own. With remixes to “Under Control” and “White Noise,” two of EDM’s most prized hits of 2013, this kid is truly leaving a mark and is showing the industry that he means business. The remix is set it be released on January 13th on Beatport, giving 2014 an awesome start. Check out the preview below.
