Diplo Takes Home ‘Best Producer’ at Urban Music Awards

Diplo recently took home an Urban Music Award, winning in the ‘Best Producer’ category. The award ceremony was held on Friday, November 22  in London and voting was open to the public. The UMA’s celebrate hip-hop, soul, R&B, as well as dance music and is held in 6 countries annually:

The Urban Music Awards was born out of the need to build a worldwide awards ceremony to recognize the achievement of urban based artists, producers, club nights, dj’s , radio stations, record labels and artists.

Avicii was also among the victors, winning the ‘Best Electronic Dance Act’ award.
