20,000+ EDC Tickets Sold on “Headliner Loyalty Program” Pre-Sale Day

We are now officially on the road to EDC Las Vegas and the road seems to be quite crowded at the moment. Earlier today, pre-sale tickets went on sale for those who had attended EDC Las Vegas in either 2011, 2012, or 2013 and bought their tickets through Flavorus through the new “Headliner Loyalty Program”. Meant to reward Insomniac’s loyal fans, Pasquale Rotella took to his Twitter earlier in the afternoon to announce that 20,000 first tier of tickets, priced at $249, sold out in only a few minutes. Later this afternoon, Tier 2, priced at $299, sold out as well meaning that currently the lowest tier of tickets still available are for Tier 3, which is priced at $345.

While the “Headliner Loyalty Program” was extremely beneficial for those fans lucky enough to grab their tickets, many future attendees were not so lucky because if they were planning on attending for the first time. These fans now have to wait for the the general pre-sales to start next week and according to Flavorus,  “the general on-sale will continue with price tiers that are remaining after the Headliner Loyalty Program.” As a result, the lowest that fans will be able to buy their ticket for next week is $345 dollars, unless that tier sells out as well. After hearing mixed reviews about it, what do you think of the “Headliner Loyalty Program” and were you able to snag a ticket yet?
