World’s Biggest Club Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, To Kick Off This Week

ADE
In only two days, dance music fans from all around the world will gather in the Netherlands for the 18th edition of the world’s biggest club festival, the Amsterdam Dance Event. For five full days and nights, the city will offer a complete program of daytime conferences alongside a nighttime schedule featuring more than 2000 EDM acts performing in more than 100 different venues. The annual dance music celebration will include performances from big industry names such as Afrojack, Alesso and Hardwell, but like every year, ADE will also showcase an array of DJ’s that represent much more than just the commercial side of the dance music scene. This years lineup will include Canadian techno legend Richie Hawtin, German Deep House guru Oliver Shories and “The godfather of house music” himself, Franky Knuckles, just to name a few. Attracting visitors from more than 70 countries, this year’s event is expected to be the biggest ADE yet, with more than 300,000 visitors expected to engulf the city.
