Over the past few weeks, Australian producer tyDi has tweeted out tidbits of information and teasers of his upcoming releases. The forthcoming album, Hotel Rooms, will give fans a breath of fresh air from all the festival bangers flooding the charts as of late. The leading single off the upcoming album, ‘Gravity‘, makes use of orchestral elements and bone chilling vocals from Carmen Keigan, which beautifully demonstrates what Hotel Rooms is all about.
tyDi is no stranger to breaking all the confining rules of genre labeling and with his next single he takes a completely different route than the expected sound of Hotel Rooms. The stand alone single, ‘Live This Lie‘ is a high energy tyDi anthem. Receiving massive responses from crowds across the globe, ‘Live This Lie‘ makes you want to move. This track is tyDi’s answer to the repetitive triplet beat drop currently plaguing the charts. ‘Live This Lie‘ is a banger, but features intricate production elements à la tyDi.
As if that wasn’t enough, tyDi takes his style and production skills in a completely different direction by turning ‘Live This Lie‘ into a rock banger. Carmen Keigan’s vocals soar above the rock medley of drums, guitar and bass with driving force reminiscent of the bands you loved when you were younger. Go ahead turn it up and rock out.
