You might know 3LAU through his consistent and skillfully produced slew of bootlegs, remixes, and mashups and stream of 3LAU HAUS mixes. Although these came him his rise to fame, it was arguably his 2012 main stage E-Zoo set that really put him on the map. While that set consisted heavily of hard-hitting electrohouse and basslines, it also included this progressive gem that’s now finally being released as 3LAU’s first single: a collab with Paris & Simo ft. vocals from Bright Lights called ‘Escape.’ Who better to collab with on your first single than Paris & Simo: the Canadian duo who burst onto the mainstream eye of the music scene  through the EDC 2012 Discovery Project. Mix in the beautiful vocals of veteran Heather Bright, fresh off her new feature with Hardwell and Dyro, and you have an uplifting, sure-fire festival anthem.
As ridiculously excited as I was for this first single from 3LAU with Paris & Simo and Bright Lights, I’m even more excited to see who else he collabs with and what original productions he comes up with next.
