Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas this year seems to have met the standards of nearly everybody in attendance. With an attendance of around 115,000 people, many artists found opportunities to do/say things to a mass audience. Mat Zo found such an opportunity when playing out the track Rebound which he co-produced with fellow Anjunabeats artist Arty. Upon playing the track out in his set he kids with the audience saying, “Yeah…I copied this song off Will.i.am.”. It’s a healthy dose of sarcastic revenge, spoken to a crowd that couldn’t have accepted the message more suitably.
